Mark you calendar now for the 10th annual Lavender Festival in Jackson Square, Saturday, June 21st from 8 am ~ 3 pm. The Lavender Festival is an herb fair featuring the farmers market, music throughout the day, enticing food, vendors selling herb plants and herbal products; handmade soap, jewelry, pottery, culinary and garden items, as well as arts and crafts. The focus is on gardening, cooking, aromatherapy, health, sustainability, and all things herbal. There will be cooking demonstrations, herbal tastings, informative lavender presentations, and a special Herb of the Year, Calendula presentation. It is always a fun day.


Herbal Luncheon

Join us for a relaxing herbal lunch in Jackson Square under the festival tent, Friday, June 20th, the day before the festival. Music begins at 11:30, the luncheon at noon. This year's speakers are The Garden Girls, Dr. Sue Hamilton, director or the UT Trial Gardens and Beth Babbit, garden expert. They are famous in East Tennessee and Southern Kentucky for their weekly gardening program on WNOX 100.3.
